  • Notes: Join our group of bicycle enthusiasts, composed of several local ski club members and guests, looking to have fun on this Saturday. All levels of riders are encouraged to participate, invite guests, and join us! We will meet 11:00am at the Emlenton trailhead and ride the beautiful Allegheny River Trail (ART) along the river!

The ART is part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System and is a very popular and wonderfully scenic trail, running 32 miles through lush woodland and riverside terrain! Riders get to experience wildlife, waterfalls, bridges, the river, and two tunnels, Rockland and Kennerdell. Please Google the Allegheny River Trail and see for yourself…

Directions: Take I-80 East to Exit 42, turn left on PA 38, turn right onto RT 208, turn left over the 5th Street Bridge, and then turn left again onto Main Street. (Use Post Office Parking Lot Address of 716 Main St. Emlenton, Pa. 16373-9800 to map)

    **NOTE**
Bring good headlights and tail-lights, as there are two long tunnels on this ride that require their use! Due to the length of each tunnel, daylight only penetrates so far onto the path, and since they are curved, you cannot see through the other end…

Following the ride, we with enjoy beverages and food at the Allegheny Grille in Foxburgh, Pa.
Note: This event is co-hosted by Warren Ski Club.
