The diverse coordinated activities of CMSC and its member clubs include car rallies, camping, golfing, cycling, inline skating, wine tastings, enjoying the fine arts, whitewater rafting, sailing and so much more. The council and clubs maintain a MeetUp Group to organize all the events, as well as ongoing postings to the events page.
The Cleveland Metro Ski Council’s mission and its member clubs active participation in skiing locally, around the country, and around the world make CMSC the Heartbeat of Skiing in Northeast Ohio. Some of the annual events held by CMSC or its clubs are:
- Adult racing program that challenges both beginner and expert skiers.
- Kids racing program that caters to kids aged 4 to 17.
- Ski trips to the American West, Canadian Rockies, and world wide.
- Annual golf tournament dubbed “The Metro Cup”.
- Travel seminar pairing ski industry representatives with ski club members.
- Annual Holiday Party
