On July 28, we welcomed 64 golfers for The Outing “Metro Cup Four Person Scramble By CSMC. The weather was in the high 80’s and sunny compared to last year’s event with a heavy downpour in the middle of round but we did finish.
The Metro Cup, the event is changing in a few ways: one, it is now a four-person scramble two, CMSC & friends are now playing in the event (introducing friends to skiing industry) and three, name change using still the Metro Cup in the scramble part of the name but is now known as “The Outing”. Last year, notice that the casual golfer what a way to compete in the outing, so this year introduce Flight A and Flight B based on the handicaps of the golfers.
No matter what, we are all enjoying a game of golf and having a GREAT time with our friends at CMSC.

After golf everyone enjoyed a BBQ dinner by Mission BBQ, 50/50 drawing and 25 prizes at the dining hall at Mayfair GC. I would like to thank Wingate Ellicottville NY for donating one night’s lodging and Alyssa Givens for donation of dog sitting services.
