Founded in 1967, the Fagowees have been proving for decades that adulthood is optional. The name stands for Fun And Games On Weekends Especially Skiing—which is accurate, except for the part where we’re also golfing, cycling, kayaking, playing euchre, and occasionally wondering how it got so late.
We run ski trips across the U.S., plus Canada and Europe—because if you’re going to fall down a mountain, you might as well do it internationally. And yes, we ski race too—real gates, real timing, real competitiveness… followed immediately by very fake explanations about why that run “didn’t count.”
Off the slopes, you’ll find us at Hillbilly Olympics (don’t ask), happy hours (do ask), Put-In-Bay, Kelley’s Island, Halloween parties, and the occasional shooting night at The Parma Armory—because nothing says “well-rounded” like skis, cocktails, and target practice.
Our members include NASA scientists, payroll pros, physiotherapists, warehouse managers, a professional speaker… and yes, accountants. Every group has its challenges.
